About TCEA
The past two decades have seen Taiwan's dynamic economic and social development backed up by high-tech industries, knowledge economy and high internationalization of service industries. Taiwan has therefore become one of the most important destinations and venues in the Asian Pacific for international convention and exhibition. The demand for the integration of peripheral services surrounding this sector prompted the founding of Taiwan Convention and Exhibition Association (TCEA) in 1991, with the purpose of establishing an effective supply chain for the convention and exhibition industry. TCEA is also in recent years charged with the mission of assisting the government in developing Taiwan's tourism industry by incorporating Incentive Travel into its MICE promotional functions (meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition). TCEA is in its best position to serve both the government and private sectors in promoting MICE industry either locally or overseas.
TCEA Mission & Vision
TCEA is to
●	work closely with government tourism and MICE offices in promoting Taiwan's MICE industry.
●	help establish a strong convention and exhibition industry in Taiwan by consolidating various service sectors surrounding MICE.
●	collect, exchange, and disseminate information on new knowledge and trend of international MICE industry.
●	enhance the quality of incentive travel, convention and exhibition services.
●	help explore international resources for Taiwan's MICE industry.
●	upgrade the international image of Taiwan's MICE industry.
●	train MICE professionals by way of technical training courses and seminars.
●	actively participate in international MICE related organizations, meetings, and exhibitions.
